According to Indian Philosophy, there are seven types of dreams:

• 1. Drust means Which you have seen in the day
• 2. Shrut means Which you have heard about in the day
• 3. Anubhut means Which you have experienced in the conscious
• 4. Prarthik means What you have wish in the consiousness
• 5. Kalpit means What you have think about in the day
• 6. Bhavik means Not seen or Not heard about
• 7. Doshaj means Ayurvedic dosh - Vaat, Kapha, Pitta
